As the CEO of the MNK Group, Manoj Kumar, ACII, CPCU, ARe, ARM, FIII, MBA,brings over 40 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, and banking — spanning a number of international regions, including LATAM, the UK, the Middle East, India and Africa. 

Manoj founded a Lloyd’s broking house as well as multiple MGAs, and he’s widely heralded for his innovative approach to risk management.

He holds a BA (Hons) and an MA in Geography from The University of Delhi, and an MBA from IGNOU. He also holds ACII, ARe, ARM and CPCU qualifications.

Amal Omari oversees the MNK Group’s daily business operations and administration, and provides management, leadership and vision to ensure that the Group meets its objectives. 

Amal started her career with the Group at MNK Re in 2012 and has been involved with every aspect of the broking business. She has successfully placed several prestigious accounts into Lloyd’s on behalf of the MNK Group.

Amal holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Business Computing from University of Sunderland and an MBA in International Business from University of Wales Institute Cardiff. Amal holds a Certificate in Insurance from Chartered Insurance Institute, London.

Naman Kumar, CFA, supports the MNK Group’s growth strategy and works closely with senior management to define and execute organic and inorganic growth opportunities. 

Prior to joining the MNK Group, Naman was at Public Investment Fund (sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia) based in Riyadh, where he worked as part of the International Investments Division. Previously, he worked as an investment professional with a European hedge fund based in London. Naman started his career in the corporate private equity division of The Carlyle Group in its London office.

Naman holds a BSc in Mathematics & Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and an MSc in Finance from London Business School (LBS). Naman is a CFA Charterholder.

Simon Ashby is responsible for driving a variety of projects and revenue growth initiatives for the MNK Group as we expand our presence across the globe, particularly in North America.

He has nearly 40 years’ experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors, having held senior management roles in both broking and underwriting, including over a decade in Bermuda as Managing Director of Marsh FINPRO Bermuda.

In London, Simon was Managing Director and CUO of Gulf Insurance Company UK Ltd part of the Travelers Group and CEO of Willis Global Solutions International. In his most recent role he was co-founder and Active Underwriter of Verto Lloyds Syndicate 2689.

Chaitali Roy leads MNK Group’s global Risk & Regulation function, driving enterprise risk management, regulatory strategy, and governance across a complex international footprint spanning the UK, EU, Middle East, and Asia. Chaitali plays a pivotal role in embedding risk-aligned innovation and regulatory excellence to accelerate MNK’s sustainable growth and global market leadership.

With over 20 years of experience at the intersection of financial services and regulatory frameworks, Chaitali has a proven record of delivering transformational programs that align risk and compliance with commercial strategy. Her leadership has enabled successful multi-jurisdictional expansions, complex post-merger integrations, and industry-leading regulatory partnerships. Prior to MNK Group, she held senior roles as Partner at Ernst & Young and executive positions at KPMG, Liberty Specialty Markets, the Bank of England/Prudential Regulatory Authority.

Chaitali is a Chartered Public Finance Accountant and holds an MSc from the London School of Economics.
